The company has a strong background in lamination and material science and is one of only a handful operating in the UK today. Nick’s background was originally in fibre glass before going on to study carbon fibre technology that is the paramount use in today’s manufacturing processes.

Nick Potts “We decided to develop a range of products more suited to the rigours of motorcycle racing, products that compliment the high technology found in suspension, engine tuning, electronics and chassis. These are already in use in Formula 1 and can be developed for the very best motorcycle teams and riders across the World.

“There are not many podiums we haven’t been on this year and that has been consistent over the last few years. We produce components for all the biggest teams that run in Europe – no surprise when we turn out the lightest, strongest and sexiest race fairings, components and accessories on the planet!"

“We have been commissioned by Mavizen to produce a carbon fibre box structure that will house all the electrical parts and batteries as well as provide structural strength across the frame of the eSupersports bike, the Mavizen TTX02.”

The boxed structure for the Mavizen TTX02 will be using prepreg carbon fibre technology and made with a 2x2 twill finish on the surface, strengthened using uni-directional carbon fibres. Frame and swingarm mounting points will be reinforced with aluminium inserts in the lay-up, providing very strong points with which to bolt the box and all the components inside to the bike chassis.

Nick on the Mavizen TTX02, “There will be nothing like this on Earth once the tooling is complete and the bikes have been fitted. A complete one-off bespoke designed carbon fibre component to minimise weight and maximise performance - the ultimate material for the ultimate machine!”
